I just realized...

this is my 100th post! Where does the time go?

Well the theater event went off without a hitch...until the curtain went down. Then my poor little guy came out of the dressing room in a mess. During the 6th act he realized he was terribly sick. But he also realized that the show must go on!! So he finished it up...all the way thru the 14th act. I'm so proud of him...not one audience member realized he was sick...including his momma. His cheeks were so pink but I thought it was due to the warm temperature in the theater and his very large family (all 17 members) that had shown up to watch his performance. After his temperature hit 103.5 we made a trip to the doc's and found out it was strep throat...never fun !!

That is where I have been spending my time...

My little guy...but not so little anymore...has been working hard on memorizing his 140 lines for the 5th grade play. Performed at our little theater downtown...there are bright lights, lots of props and costume changes, singing, dancing, and tons of excitement. Tomorrow is his big day...there will be 2 morning performances and one evening performance. I can't wait to see the play from the seats instead of backstage. Break a leg buddy!!

O Happy Monday...

It isn't very often that I get up in the morning, look at the calendar and there is nothing on it !

Nothing !!

It's not my turn for carpool, there is no soccer, baseball or basketball practice. No drum practice. I can't believe it!! O Happy Monday...

Do you know what this means? It means I can have about 3 or 4 hours of uninterrupted work time...yippee!!

Of course, I do still need to finish up 6 costumes and process the tickets for the 5th grade play. I also need to bake 4 desserts for the monthly neighborhood drunko I am co-hosting tomorrow night, and...

I need to deliver my class samples (shown here) for the two classes I will be teaching at Tangerine.

But never fear...it's going to be a very productive Monday.

I hope yours will be just as good.

I've been working away creating samples for a couple of classes I will be teaching at
Tangerine
in Dublin, CA.
I've got a new studio...bigger, brighter, better...and I'm almost settled in. It has given me tons of inspiration and more importantly...motivation !!

I've got to get back to the little girls.
They are quite cold and are in need of some pretty dresses.
