What is it...

about the end of the school year that makes kids go all loopy? My kids anyway? It never fails that as we enter in the last week their minds start wandering...what kind of crazy outfit can they put together...what can they write across their foreheads...their arms come home covered in the signatures of their friends...and sometimes their clothes too. Is this their way of celebrating? Their way of showing they are soon to have freedom?

This one...

...who is all too conservative, never likes attention on him and pleeeeeze...do not tell him he is cute or that you like his freckles. He decides he wants a new haircut for the last day of school. A mohawk maybe? A reverse mohawk!! yeah...that's it. Ummm...no...could you just shave my name into the back of my head? Thanks mom!

Whatever!!

btw...
Love Americana too...It has to be something about the way the colors combined become so graphic. They are just so pleasing to the eye. Your new offerings are fantastic. Great fun!

Oh Colleen I could tell you stories about ridiculous teenagers, I could write a BOOK! Half the time I didn't even recognize my middle child...I think he had every color of hair imaginable growing up and we don't even want to talk piercings....All in all he has grown to be a very handsome man and wonderfully responsible...Ya never know....Just embrace them as individuals and laugh when you can cause it leaves way to soon!
